    Solution to the heavyweight problem

Heavyweights of today are no where near the the calibre of previous eras, and it's not because of a lack of good American heavyweights. Todays heavyweights are FAT, unmotivated and not that good to watch. . The solution has a lot
To do with the Amatures and how they transition into the pros. In the olympics u can see the talent pool very much but as soon as they become pros they become fat, distracted And not live up to their full potential ..... Example Solis.

Problem is, all of the potential HW contenders and champs from the US go into NFL and NBA.
That's where every super athlete in the US go.

There isn't enough incentives for these athletes to join a boxing gym from a early age or even interest.

Sorry to say but boxing isn't very popular in the US.

Just seems to me that the big lads of America have cottoned on to the fact that they can make a lot of money playing on a court or on a field that getting hurt over time in a ring.

Can't knock them really but I wish the US would start getting some decent big men.
