I like this fight. If he aint fighting Martinez then i think this is the next best thing to him finally moving up and getting his arse whooped. If he beats Lee, really wins not one of these gift decisions thats been going out lately, then i will give Chavez a little credit that maybe he is good.

1- he has to fight chavez (he should be able to )
2 - he has to beat the ref
3- he has to beat the 3 judgest who will be paid off by TR
4- he has to beat the Texas atheletic comission (also paid off by TR)

Lee has no chance because although he is better than JR he can't beat them all

Given the unwillingness to put JR in with certain guys Lee should be a good fight to watch and he might trouble him for awhile but in the end JR will prob be a bit to big and active

This is a good match up I don't know why people are hating. Chavez Jr is actually fighting pretty good opposition this year. Rubio, Lee, and possibly (fat chance) Martinez in September. Who is Canelo fighting again?

I completely agree. Why doesn't Chavez face Martinez already? All this hiding and gift decisions/controversies are just futher perpetuating the fact that he is a mediocre fighter. Perhaps we should start giving people to TR instead of the witness protection program.
