    i enjoy boxing and there are alot of great match ups that have been made.even if you dont always get the one you want most of the time its a good solid match up

      Not as long as promoters aren't forced to make matches that threaten their bottom line.

      Until then, it will be 90% in house fights to build up to the occasional big fight where its profitable for them to work together.

        It would have to be like the UFC, with all fighters under one promoter.

        That way theres no where to run and all the money is in house, this tends to lead to promoters screwing over fighters though because they have all the power, used to happen when Don King was around because the majority of the classy fighters we're in his stable wont happen today though. Not unless HBO and Showtime stamp down and tell promoters that they won't accept BS fights.

          I think they should only have one belt for each division. Instead of five then you would have the best fighting the best for that one belt.

            Boxing will change when Bob Arum retires and hopefully who ever inherits Top Rank isn't POS. People seem to forget how often the "best fought the best" from 2000-2005 what changed was Bob Arum signed pretty much EVERYBODY and only let guys fight in house.
