Ismayl Sillakh & Dulorme were the first to come to mind. There shouldnt be any questions surroundin Cotto, i'd consider him the posterboy. Conventional/fundamentally sound puncher with lots of power n high output.

Im curious, what would we consider a fighter like Marquez?

            highly adaptive

his style has changed a good deal as his physical abilities have declined

he is one hell of a fighter

But do you really think Mares is a boxer/puncher? He's more of a high output pressure fighter to me.
he's certainly put in rounds that fit the bill

he can also flat out brawl. he's a bit dirty as well, as nice and clean as he might appear outside of the ring.

ideally though, i think he should be and tries to be a boxer puncher.

I feel like JMM is the classic boxer-puncher.

For the puncher part, I determine it by how hard a single shot is.

Sometimes it's hard to tell when the comp is really good how hard the shots are.

                    How about Antonio Tarver.

I know he gets hated a lot but he's very fundamentally sound, has good defense, and can crack one if need be.
                    He's fought great comp too.
