How has Pavlik improved over the past 10 months

His opponent wasn't good enough to bring out any improvements Pavlik might have acquired. We need to see him in with a decent, boxer/puncher to see how well Pavlik's defense has improved and much better he can cut off the ring.

just watched the video...

the jaco guy really aint good... showed no skill and not even a slightest hint of aggression... most importantly, showed no heart... what a tomato can... i think even paulie malignaggi could have beaten him...

if pavlik has indeed improved, it was difficult to see... the fight lasted less than 3 minutes for crying out loud...

Won't improve under Garcia.

Garcia sucks. Look at Brandon Rios he is the exact same fighter he's always been. Any decent coach would make sure Brandon doesn't flame out by 27 but Garcia don't care don't teach defense don't teach nothing. Send him out there for a war of attrition time after time.
