Well it's because a lot of people keep saying his power is overrated. That KO will prove he does have a pretty good punch. Mosley would be second iron chinned opponent he's KO'ed. You cannot deny that. And that's IF he knocks him out...

My problem is that he fights folks people more shot than the fight prior.

You can't get more shot than Cintron...then he turns around and fights Mosley

THe object of the fight game is to step up the ladder of competition, not down

And he's so arrogant, thinking he's entitled to the accolades of the big stage. He needs an ass whupping

There are plenty of people that think Mosley is going to KO Canelo; that ain't happening.

Mosley will be worn out by the time his ring walk is done

Canelo looks pretty good, we just don't know because we've only seen him in 1 really actual legit fight so far. And the people saying Mosley is going to KO Canelo are high on bird s**t.

If Canelo really wanted to force Floyd to fight him, he should have went about it like this.

Instead of getting a gift title shot against Matthew Hatton, he could have easily fought Cornelius Bundrage for the IBF title. Than, make your first defense against a Top 10 opponent like Ryan Rhodes, good fight. After that, he could have fought Vanes Martirosyan, the #1 WBC ranked fighter, for the vacant WBC title. I didn't really mind the Cintron fight all THAT much, even though Cintro was passed it, because it was more of a stay busy-get back in the ring quick fight down in Mexico. Than, instead of fighting Mosley, he should have fought someone like Delvin Rodriguez in May. He's a Top 10 SWW coming off a good over Wolak.

Had he done something similar that, and he'd probably beat all those people, it'd make it much more possible for a Floyd fight.

After he's done with Shane, he really needs to fight 2 more times this year. Fight someone like Bundrage/Rosado/Rodriguez, and than someone like Cotto/Kirkland/Molina at the end of the year. Than, if he actually wins, fight Floyd in 2013.

I'll repspect Canelo more once he steps up fight after fight. His only step up in opponents at all has been Ryan Rhodes, who was a Top 10 ranked SWW, that's it.

I'd like to see him fight Kirkland, it'd be a great action fight and he could crush Kirkland too.

It's a 50/50 fight to me. Kirkland had a busted shoulder going into the Molina fight and got held 118 times, which was every 15 seconds Molina innited a clinch, that's f**king pathetic. Molina was winning, but had Molina not held 16 times in the 10th, there's a great shot that Kirkland could have stopped him in the 10th.

Did you watch FNF last night??? Did you hear Teddy Atlas say that the punch Molina hit Kirkland with in the 10th when Molina was holding, should have been a knock down??? He said Kirkland didn't trip over Molina, WHICH HE CLEARLY DID.

I'd like to see Kirkland rematch Molina, but Kirkland won't even be able to train until June/July, so he won't fight again until August or September probably.

If Canelo can come back in August/September and fight someone like Rosado/Bundrage/Rodriguez, and than come back in December with a huge fight against Cotto (Cotto will probably fight one more time in 2012 if he loses to Floyd and he only wants big fights) or someone like Molina/Kirkland, I'd say Canelo would be a legit fight for Floyd at that point.

floyd and pac achieved a lot at a young age though not at 21, and yes they are bad examples. pac already has marquez, morales, barrera on his resume at 25 with sasakul and others. he's already a legend at 25.

Getting the better of someone in sparring is one thing, but whooping somebody's ass and making the guy look straight up amateurish...you can't watch that and say "it doesn't mean anything" of course it does.

Doing something that Pac and Floyd couldn't do is a pretty big deal.
