Karma in Boxing? Delahoya vs Pac = Pac vs Marquez

Oscar called out Pacquiao- Roach trained with Oscar, thought he was close to being shot so they welcomed the Delahoya bout. Then beat the crap out of him for Oscar's troubles.

Marquez got hurt badly vs Katsidis, looked like crap against Floyd in his last fight at welterweight. Team Pac felt 2011 was the best opportunity to "settle the score" with Marquez and bring him up to welterweight for a catchweight fight. Pac then got soundly outboxed over twelve rounds against the old lightweight.

Funny how that all worked out isn't it?

i'd say oscar vs jcc - oscar vs pac would be a better analogy but if it'd make you feel better to dump on pac, then stretching in pac vs jmm would be understandable

There are several things in common between the 2

      Pac won both fights

And he also disfigured both de la hoya and maquez face

Pac took the Oscar fight because it was Oscar. His chances of winning probably factored into about 10% of the final decision to take it, the other 90% being that he would make a sh**load of money.

Pac picked Marquez because he thought he was shot and would win easy, that's obviously the main reasoning there.
