To be fair he has only really lost to Ward and Froch at 168lbs, he was DQ'd against Dirrell when he was coming on strong.

Wow way too much hate for Abraham. He's only lost to the very best. He's still one heck of a fighter.

You're insane. Dirrell was the first to expose him, and was beating him handily before Abe got desperate and made a final last ditch effort to win by KO.

I think Miranda was the first to expose him. Abraham just wasn't world level. Probably a level below even Mayorga.

Maybe he's too big for MW, but his power then didn't seem carry with him against word class SMW, with the exception of Jermain Taylor (if you think he's world class at this weight). Without that power, he doesn't have the activity to win a decision against a competent boxer.

lol please, the person who was desperate was Dirrell, he was so desperate to gtf outta there and away from Abraham that he pulled a horrible hollywood and shamed himself and the entire sport.

Abraham didn't lose that fight, he was disqualified when he was winning rounds and pushing for the KO

Abraham was probably a B+ to A- middleweight, and a B to B- super-middleweight. The guy was not as good as hyped, but not as bad as being made out by some in this thread either. About the only thing that was really exposed in the tournament for me was that if you get him out of Germany and a ref will allow you to punch him to the body he's very beatable. Taylor basically was forced by the ref to not punch him to the body with his crazy low blow calls, and then at the end knew he was behind and got caught.

I take issue with Kalle Sauerland's statement to Abraham; who the **** is he to advise Abraham to retire if he loses tomorrow? It's one thing if your fighter is taking inordinate amounts of punishment in the ring and it is a safety issue. But it's other thing to call for a fighter to retire after he's experienced a rough patch during his career. There's too much focus these days on fighter's records, God forbid a guy has an off night and get a "loss."...

Here's a big **** you to Kalle Sauerland....

                    End rant

Abraham was very clearly on his way to losing the fight when he got DQed. And it is on his official record as a loss.

                      So you're wrong.
