They are both have huge problems with cuts.

They both were in the same weight class.

They have the same style of fighting, which is generally geered towards a huge body attack. They always press forward. They know how to brawl. They have problems with a good jab. They both train very very hard, show up in great conditon and never quit.

I think they are very different.

Yes, they are both tough and attack the body etc, but the way they move, throw shots, the way they apply pressure are all quite different IMO.

The fact of the matter is that 1 fighter is an elite level guy who does special things in the ring to be considered as such, the other (Ward) was never more then a B level fighter, convince yourself this means nothing and you are making a mistake


I could go to an Indian Reservation and find a guy who ikes to brawl, puts pressure on his opponents and cuts but Im not going to compare hiom to Ricky Hatton...

Personally I think that Ricky fights very simmilar to the style of Mickey. He looks a lot like Mickey. He has a lot of heart like Mickey.

He obviously is a little better than Mickey was, but that is beside the point.
