I sincerely agree with everything you say, but in this case, it just happened to be boxing, The real winner was sportsmanship, and heart-felt charity. Only thoroughly good persons would do such things. One time, when I was a kid, this sort of thing, on a smaller scale of course, was common at auctions and fund raisers, but these days it takes special people.

This reminds me of someone buying Comedian's account and then giving it back to him

Wlad obviously didn't think that much of it or he would have donated money instead of auctioning it.

                Classy move by Wladimir

I look forward to the day when someone can challenge him. He deserves to win a good battle before he retires.

No. The auction itself brings a lot of attention and awareness to the charity. Many people will donate large amounts and ask to be excluded from the auction, because they just want to give (I know because I do a lot of charity fundraising). Seeing Wlad give-up something very meaningful likely motivated a lot of people to donate or get involved in the auction.

By Ducking Lennox Lewis from 00-03, Tua took the massive beating and humiliation that was meant for Wlad. Hence destroying his career, his health, his mental state of well being. Wladimir wait and wait until LENNOX was super old and way pass prime then send in his big BRO. only to have VK almost lose his eye and end up like Gerald MCcellan.

Oh and also Lennox Lewis donated the money he earned from the Tua fight (the purse was in the high 10 mill+) to charities as well. But you don't hear him talking about that because the real kind hearted guys just do it without needing publicity.
I wanted to red K you, but according to this thing I should spread some karma before giving red to you again! Damn.
