Once Pac realizes the same **** is happening again, he gets nervous opens up and this time Marquez scores the Knock down and possibly the KO.. No way Manny can beat Marquez now, he already trained his hardest.. Marquez is just settling into this weight although at a very advanced age..

Marquez might be able to win if Manny comes into the fight the same way he did last time, I think Manny will be ready to go if they face each other this fall. I don't know who will win right now check back after they get through their next opponents, I am more curious of how much Manny has left in the tank, he looked horrible in the last fight and I don't know if his heart is into fighting anyone or if he is just fighting for the money and the power. If Manny get beat by Bradley, he might retire rather than be beat by JMM.

I believe that Marquez fought a masterpiece in his last fight. He never lost concentration. He never made any mistakes he couldn't pull himself out of. He had a tremendous amount of motivation. Since he feels like many that he won those first two fights.

I think part of the reason for Manny's performance was for 3 reasons.

        1. Marquez's superior foot work and lateral movement bothered him.

        2. Marquez was actually landing with power. Roach said it himself in an interview after the fight that Marquez was able to hit harder than they expected in the weight class.

        3. Knowing that it was impossible for himself to lose to a counter punching style like in their previous 2 fights in which Marquez was closer to prime, he thought Marquez would try to knock him down like in their second encounter to win by force. This created openings for Pacquiao to knock him down since Marquez got a little trigger happy after landing a nice bomb (2nd round of the 2nd fight I believe). When Marquez was in even more counter punching mode this troubled Manny.

I believe that since this sport is closer to judging a beauty contest than a basketball match sometimes (when the fighters are near equal in ability and physique or a combination of both) the fight result of the third fight depends on the judges who viewed the fight. In the second fight where a split decision was won by Pacquiao one of the judges had an inverted scoring result in favor of Marquez. He clearly favors a counter puncher. I do concede that Marquez was the ring general but the rounds were very close to call and watching it several times I always end of with a different result. My initial score card watching the fight I had Pacquiao winning 7-5.

Because of these reasons I think the 4th fight will be very interesting. With the masterpiece that Marquez pitched and with the result he got. I think he will have to reconsider his strategy. He will open up more since he will go on the attack. I think he needs to be more offensive in the later rounds if he can employ his strategy from the third fight and confuse Manny again for the first half of the fight. (In the third fight he had taken a lot of Manny's moral and Manny was in a bad mental state as you could see in between rounds.) He needs to be able to do this again.

Also in order to avenge the feelings of desperation from the last fight, and people's chatter (which Manny seems to be affected by). I believe Manny will be much more offensive. He will fight similar to the first fight, more wild. He will take a shot to get a shot in. He will go in blindly sometimes. This opens up the possibility of Marquez landing some shots and hurting him, or of him landing his bombs on Marquez.

The fight will resemble the 2nd fight. I believe this fight will end in a knockout. They are both hungry to end the rivalry with a decisive result. I believe Manny will finally get the knockout in this fight around the 7th round. I doubt that Marquez can fight as perfect as he did in the 3rd fight. He will leave more openings (age, strategy change, motivation, pride, ego will create these).

Both fighters like to win, and their pride will be on the line more than ever. (Except if and when Manny and Floyd fight).

Pac wins the 4th just as he won the first 3

If marquez tries to get offensive, he gets ko'd

otherwise he just gets chased around the ring, backing up every single time pac lands on him and losing rounds while looking like this

But first he has to get older and his fans think he will KO marquez in the first minute of the first round but when marquez starts taxing that ass they make up excuses for their God.

Actually Roach came with the wrong game plan ..... while Manny won, it was close.

Roach said it several times that Manny will fight a smart fight ... meaning box more ....

Manny should have pressured him from the opening bell. Marquez at his age and it being at 144lbs would have had a hard time keeping up the high pace and would be more vulnerable and more prone to getting caught and dropped. You can never count Marquez out but an aggressive Manny is when he is at his best ..... and that is how he should fight Marquez if they fight again.
