    Fighters' whose fans...

can be easily "stopped" from claiming greatness.

    Example of what I mean:

Wlad and Khan. Whenever the argument of how they would fare against a good/great fighter shows up... the naysayer has an easy way out: reminding everone else of how they got KTFOed. It is particulary annoying because they have regrouped since and been quite successful, but those losses rightfully loom big on any h2h matchup one could care to think about.

    Other examples?

Another example could have been (very briefly) Zab Judah. He looked superb in the second Spinks fight. A complete focused fighter. As impressed as me and my friends were, no one ever forgot the chicken dance. (golden moment didn't last long for Judah anyways, what an idiot...)
