Cotto himself has admitted that he had never spoken with Arum about any Mayweather fight nor were there ever any suggestions or steps in securing a Mayweather fight at any time.

It was never on the table, especially after Cotto BARELY beat Mosley. Like Arum was going to let Cotto lose to Floyd next, when Cotto was on the cusp of being his next cash cow.

At least Cotto got beat at a weight that was designed to put him at a disadvantage. Pac lost at the weight he was comfortable at
