    Thoughts on new prospects?

It seems there are a lot of new prospects coming up what do you guys think of them. I cant think of all of them now so if you guys can just add on and get some discussion going about them.

I liked Danny Garcia on saturday night he didn't blow me away but he can hang with some of the other 140 pounders, it will be interesting who is next big fight will be.

Also Hank Lundy is on FNF this weekend, I like him think he could be a good fighter and maybe a possible opponent for Broner sometime.

    what's up brother

hank lundy might appear young at heart but he's actually 28 years old and he's been a pro for six years now. hes got fast hands and some skill. i sitll think he could be a ppv undercard level fighter. he comes to fight.
he will look you in the eye and tell you he can beat floyd mayweather and manny pacquiao on the same night, and he believes it.

ten rounds to start the card off. put him in there with somebody who will come forward and cut the ring off and it will be a good fight.

not sold on garcia. he's a bit ordinary in my eyes. he's got no huge flaws i guess.

my favorite prospect is still jose benavidez. i want to see him step up, obviously, but the kid has a boatload of talent. size speed and power. he's getting good work in at the gym. looks great in sparring.

I like Diego Magdaleno. I like him because he sorta has the same style as me when I go southpaw. When I first saw him, I was baffled because I was like "hold up... that's my style!"

I think he is promising because he is smooth and very technical but I think he will wind up in a lot of 12 rounders in the future. He really doesn't have any power either and he'll probably max out at 140 as well. I can see him struggling with those come forward, eat every punch guys.

I don't think we can call Jorge Linares a prospect anymore but I like him too.

I kinda like Bryant Jennings but without more experiance he might have trouble stepping up to the elite class. I don't think he has much amateur experiance.

I personally like Demeterius Andrade although his last two opponents have been garbage he has quality abilities. Andrade will never be the most exciting guy and is more of a strictly outside fighter but he has the right attributes to be a quality outside fighter plus if he learns to really sit down on his shots I think he could hurt dudes much more frequently.

It is always so hard to call prospects because you just can't tell how seriously they take the sport.

Lundy is good. He was kicking Molina's a$$ until he got stopped. I think he could be a good fight for Broner in a year or so at LW.

Lol, I wasn't blown away by Danny Garcia but I'm a little bias because he is a Philly fighter so I'm hoping the best for him haha. And Lundy, like you said, isn't going to be on any p4p lists or anything but he puts on exciting fights so I agree he would be a good undercard fighter.

As for my favorite prospect I would have to say Gary Russell Jr. (if he still counts as a prospect) he is going to be really fun to watch when he takes the step up.

Darley Perez fights next week though i've only seen him once on ShoBox awhile back he looked impressive threw really hard crisp punches

Prospects are guys who won't be fighting or even mentioned for a possible belt anytime this calender year and maybe then some

Can't say I am excited a lot by any prospect.

I do like Gary Russell jr the most.
