You also have to remember that Khan was running,it takes a lot out of you to chase an opponent then fight when you finally corner them to start working in ya offense..I believe Khan is going to try to make a statement in this fight, which means less running more toe to toe...In this regard,we really don't know who has a better tank...I think the perception is that Khan won the early rounds, then Peterson figured him out, and won all the mid-late rounds. Not true
Khan off course won the first couple of rounds, then Peterson changed up and won a bunch of rounds in the middle, but he definitely tired and Khan won many late rounds. Peterson is not Margarito (i actually think Khans engine is better, he just wastes too much energy), he'd win a couple of rounds but then Khan would win some back as Peterson wasn't able to maintain the same pressure.
If Peterson tries the pressure too early, he's going to hit the canvas.
I'd love to see a heavy body shot or two (like the one he landed on Maidana) landed on Peterson. I think he'd slow down, and Amir would be able to deal with him much better

Ive followed khans career from the start and he's KD and KO people with body shots. Khan actually took LP body punches pretty well cuz khan comes with good conditioning. He did have success when he went to the body he just needs to go there earlier. For Peterson it's jab more and head movement. He still pulls back in straight lines with his chin upHe better have a plan to go to the body, cause you know Peterson is going at his...Khan went to the body pretty well in his last fight esp considering it's not what he does..But he put some money in the bank,it was a big reason Peterson slowed a bit towards the end of the fight..Comment

My fellow friends, boxing fans and lurkers, let it be known to all, here now and in the future, that in the year of 2012, Rome by Ducking has avoided my challenge. I made all attempt to do so but what can I do when a man chooses to wear his Stevie Wonder specs.Comment

I agree, i've got the feeling Khan is pretty pissed off about what happened in DC.You also have to remember that Khan was running,it takes a lot out of you to chase an opponent then fight when you finally corner them to start working in ya offense..I believe Khan is going to try to make a statement in this fight, which means less running more toe to toe...In this regard,we really don't know who has a better tank...
Lamont could try and use this to his advantage if he's smart. I get the feeling he understands Khans rhythm, so there's something there for him to exploit too if Khan comes out too aggressive.Comment

Khan did stand up to Peterson's body punches well, but he is well condition so would expect nothing less..I doubt Peterson starts using head movement,he will resort to his same style once this fight get's going...I'm not saying Khan is a fighter who never goes to the body but it's never his main focus,I've also followed Khan for a longtime never ever thought of him as a body puncher...But it might serve him well to have that mentality in this fight...Ive followed khans career from the start and he's KD and KO people with body shots. Khan actually took LP body punches pretty well cuz khan comes with good conditioning. He did have success when he went to the body he just needs to go there earlier. For Peterson it's jab more and head movement. He still pulls back in straight lines with his chin upComment

Yeah but it slowed him down and kept him from throwing combinations. Didn't make him touch the canvas but Khan's offense steadily slowed to a crawl. Was anyone else impressed with Khans ability to take Lamont's body shots?
I remember watching in horror when Khan was in the corner (can't think which round it was) getting bettered to the body thinking he'd get folded in half. To his credit he stood up to it, but that type of punishment takes it tollComment
