Every fighter says they want the best and then their management picks out a setup. We will know thats the case because the 140 Div is DEEP. If he fights Olusegun, Maidana, Mathysee, Judah, Jessie Vargus, Gesta, Alvarado, or Guzman, then I'll be impressed. But I doubt it. It will be business as usual with some "showcase" fight instead of one of those guys.

Everyone wants to be a champion so now everyone wants to come after me. I have to train much harder and get better..... What a great statement. Kid has the right attitude, hopefully he backs it up with actions. He's got good overall skills and probably this win gave him a lot of confidence too which he lacked in the fight.

he's an Al Haymon fighter, which means he'll probably get some easy opponents or Haymon will buy off the judges.

I'm not hating on the kid but it's just the way Haymon rolls

The fight new dot com rankings shows how the division is loaded cause all the top 10 are serious comp. But The WBC has some unknowns and lesser talents and I bet they pick the easiest top 15 opponent they can find to milk him with from that list. Over half the fighters in the WBC top 15, no one has ever heard of......till the setup "name" gets called. Damn I hope I am wrong.

They will. They would rather fight a washed up name fighter than a prime fighter who is a serious threat and not as known. More money, easier money in the "name" washed up fighter, whoever that is. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than being wrong cause Olusegun vs Garcia would be a war.

Garcia is not getting into the ring 3 months from now, that's the bravado talking. You see how ****ed up his face was? it's probably gonna take about a month and a half to heal 100%. I can see him getting in the ring in late July/early August.
