dirrell wants frotch to win because he sees carl as easier to beat than bute. As said, he wants belts and should the ibf be with carl, the fight gets made easy and he has a better chance at winning that fight. I like frotch and admire his want to fight the best(as he always has) but as we all saw in the ward fight, hes on a decline. Bute beats frotch and then shocks dirrell. They all get whopped by ward though. jmo peace

Froch will not beat Bute, no way.

How can you say there's no way Froch will beat Bute? Maybe Bute should be the favorite, I won't really argue with that, but Froch has proven that at the very least he is a very live underdog in this fight.

You realise he lands more than a few too right? he also has reasonably heavy hands. One thing Dirrell got right is saying that Lucian Bute has never been in with an opponent of Carl Froch's calibre.

If that's what he wants then he'll be disappointed. Froch won't fight Dirrell again, he views him as someone who comes to run and not to fight. A big-money rematch with Kessler is much more likely should he beat Bute and Kessler beat Green.

He may be on a decline but I'm not sure you can adduce that from the Ward fight where Froch finished stronger than he started. Ward just has an awkward style for Froch and is the all round better boxer.

Of course Dirrell will say Froch will win. He lost to Froch, so saying that Bute will win means Bute would beat him too---at least in those triangle theories (which don't really work)
