Good stuff. A guy who routinely draws crowds of 15-20K is special.

Why Showtime decided not to air his showdown with Froch remains a mystery. Its a great match-up.

Don't really get all the Bute hate on here. The guy is clearly a talented boxer and that left hook/upper to the body and how he rocks back then explodes forward to deliver it is a thing of beauty. I think he will UD and possibly stop Froch.

Too bad Bute doesn't fight good fighters

what a great fresh face for boxing. Having the Klit brothers-Martinez-Chavez-Bute-Froch is refreshing and good for the sport. If Bute would fight great fighters and beat them he would be the biggest celeb around.

            There's no great mystery there.

Bute has one fight left on his contract with Showtime, and they want that fight to be against the Super Six winner not the Super Six runner up.

In the meantime they pass on a fight thats potentially a Top candidate for FOTY. Why not extend the contract for one fight?

The Super Six winner made it clear right after he won that he won't fight Bute.
How does Showtime expects Bute to fight Ward when Ward doesn't want Bute right now.

Another excellent article by Jake the Snake.

Bute gets a lot of flack from Americans because he fights a lot at home- but I don't see a lot of Americans going abroad for fights. There are some, like Hopkins and Dawson who went to Quebec for Pascal, but not a very high percentage.

Bute/ Froch is going to be a great fight and I really hope Bute beats Froch, hopefully knocking him out.

Me too. I know of his Romanian heritage and assumed he was a homeless poor kid or something.

I didn't read anymore than what you see on the first post so unless I missed something...
