I don't see why the IBF would care if this fight is on HBO or not. That should be irrelevant to the sanctioning bodies IMO. But, whatever this is not a bad fight...Good comeback fight for Kirkland to look good in after not looking so hot in his last fight. Plus Kirkland would be coming off minor shoulder surgery. So this can be a very interesting fight.

There is another fight that Molina arguably deserved to win. And, I don't mind him getting this rematch against another Golden Boy fighter first in Lara.

Plus it seems Lara has problems with finding an opponent. You can put this on HBO as a double header. Let Molina-Lara be the opener and Kirkland-K9 as the main event.

And, the can set up a future fight with the winner of Kirkland-K9 vs the winner of Molina-Lara.
