Why didnt SSM fight only once in 09? hmmmmm Why did he wait 16 mths to fight Floyd? Oh and shane lost to Cotto..in 07. being shane fights once a year...he fought Mayorga then Margarito. then he had to fight Clottey due to the fact that the Cotto Clottey fight was sooo close and could have gone either way...MaNNY HAD TO FIGHT and beat...both! Actually until this day there are many of Floyd fans that said Mosley was the guy to beat and was not really old and kept himself in great condition and taking that logic was in even better condition and actually more active when Mosley faced Manny ....

So either he was or he wasn't ..... I say Mosley was way past his prime when he fought Floyd and it took the Manny fight to convince the Floyd fans.

Many of the FLoyd fans said Manny was scared to fight until they heard that Manny was actually going to fight Mosley ... then they went on the "he is old" story ....

I just looked at some of the people who posted .... a few days ago some of the Floyd posters were defending and saying Mosley was not old .... so either he was or he wasn't .... Floyd fans need to make up their minds!!!

His Wins:
- against a one-eyed Margarito that almost didn't get a license and had just been annihilated by Manny.
- At this point in his career, against an all bark no bite Mayorga....
- against the one-legged Foreman

His losses:
- Lost badly to Manny
- Lost badly to Margarito

At his age, Mosley fought 3 guys that were bad for him style wise ... therefore he looked even worse than he really was (see below for what I mean)
By the way, the defeat against Floyd .... didn't make Mosley shot ... Mosley was already on his way there before the first bell of that fight .... his next 2 fights just confirmed it ....

Probably with the right style of fighter, Mosley can still hang ... but that too has to be seen to be believed.


Back to Cotto: I saw some snap against Mayorga but he wasn't impressive overall in his 3 wins ... if it was the old Margarito, Cotto would have been in big trouble.

Still, I hope he makes it an interesting fight in May but the odds are against that!

Also Floyd called out Mosley when he was in his prime and Mosley avoided him.Pacquiao called out Mosley when he was completely shot.

The old Margarito? Do you mean the one that got caught cheating? Also i remember reading where Cotto said these fights were all that was offered to him by Arum. But now Arum gone and this fight is made. Food for thought

These guys never get tired of the same arguments. Pac is overrated. Floyd is da best. The solution is obvious. Make them fight. Floyd stans would rather engage in useless debates than call out their idol for being a pu55y. It's a misdirected energy. I for one can agree with you if that will make you happy; Pac is amateurish. He's one-dimensional. He fought washed-up opponents. Okay, I agree.

But what is Floyd waiting for? Make him fight, man, make him fight, so we can end these endless debates.
