Well, I don't even think he is my favourite fighter. Mike Tyson and Nigel Benn were always my favourite fighters.
These days, I'd say my favourite fighters are Joe Gans and Joe Louis (even though I've only got footage of Gans against Herman and Nelson that I watch over and over again).

Seeing as how there aren't that many around that's pretty cool. I'm a pretty big George Dixon fan myself, and there's certainly a direct connection between him and Gans (Gans learned much of his techniques from 'Little Chocolate').
