I'm looking into buying tickets for Floyd vs. Cotto but all the seats close to the ring are super expensive (obviously.) Can one get a good view of the action from the nosebleed sections?

It's messed up that everything is just about sold out, but if you go on Ebay they have tons of tickets available with jacked up prices.

      ****ing scalpers.

          yes

there are reputed to be nothing but good seats

obviously you get what you pay for, and a bleeder will be further away than a ringside or first balcony / loge

I don't know about the MGM but when i go to any boxing fight I always go for a lower tier seat, if you go on the floor you often have a rubbish view.

I've been to MGM before and will be at this fight also. No matter what seats you get you are going to spend a lot. Whether you get expensive floor/lower bowl or you get crappy seats that prices are twice or three times the face value, it's gonna be a lot. In my experiences though as long as you aren't in the way back, most of the MGM seats are fine.
