Believe Me, by NO MEANS is Juanma an influential figure here(in Puerto Rico or anywhere else) especially for anyone that seen both fights that he lost & his comments at the end of both fights..Plus ref Roberto Ramirez Sr has worked over 180 world title fights all over the world..He could have sued Juanma under defamation charges, but those allegations by Juanma weren't going anywhere ..

Wow. This just won't go away, huh? After JuanMa's last apology, Ramirez complained that Lopez didn't specify that he had no evidence on which to base his allegations. Now JuanMa is admitting that and making further concessions. The kid is bending over backwards. What he said was dumb, and everyone knows it, but Ramirez needs to let it go now. The only thing left is blood.

I just can't help wondering in the very first place whether or not a ref can bet on a fight he calls. Seriously though, it's about time Ramirez accepted the kid's apology like a man. Fight fans all know that he's a tremendous referee with a lot of great experiences. Juanma will soon realize that Ramirez was the one who saved his health and, possibly, even his life also.

C) I think JuanMa lost that status of being an 'infulential figure' after what happened, just my opinion lol.
            A) We already know he appologized, B) Doesn't change the fact that the ref stands to lose money, C) Anyone who is on TV and says something with conviction, is influential and some will believe him.

ANYONE who says something with conviction on TV in front of millions will without failure lead many to believe him. THAT is why he is in trouble!! Otherwise, everyone including the ref would have laughed it off if it was not possible to believe. If Juanma had said the ref was a 10 foot Elephant, that would not have been believable and people would have laughed and the Ref's reputation would not have taken a hit.

Anybody remember in the 1st fight when Juanma told the referee "Tu eres un infeliz" for stopping the fight? It was shortly after he lost the fight. I had a good laugh. Just curious to see if anyone saw it or heard it.

Bottom line, Juanma straight up blames everyone for his losses. I say suspend him for a short time (rest of the year or about 6 months) and fine him a lil.

So it's pretty much Buh Bye Juanma? Since he said he would retire if he got suspended and they said if he had no evidence he would be.

You had an OK career, see ya around .

Why doesn't he just fight for another organization and then build his way up. If he has the talent he'll get to the top eventually. But, he made his bed.
