After an intense workout it's actually beneficial to eat jelly beans or soda as long as you don't over do it. For recovery after exercis or fuel during soda is idea because it's a quick acting carbohydratel, but if you over do it the excess will do you harm, hence he's sipping small amounts. AFL players here always have some soft lollies after games in the rooms.
For the big weight lifters i hear alot of people recommend some ice cream post workout.Comment

It's for reflexes, speed and to get you thinking. You have to follow where roger is placing the pad to know what punch to throw. Even when it's choreographed 100% it still get's you thinking and reflexes going.Comment
