I wasn't aware that breaking the rules by constantly holding and pushing someone towards the rope was schooling someone...

molina was outboxing kirkland when he wasn't holding. james looked befuddled in there. seemed like all he threw was an uppercut that missed every time molina came in low and had already landed 2-3 shots on him. if you take away the holding, that was the whole fight. kirkland did start letting his hands go during the last two rounds though and finally caught molina.

That was some bull s**t. The corner should have known the rules it cost Molina and the fans a short night of boxing.

Molina should've been disqualified earlier. What he did with the excessive holding and dirty tricks hurt the sport even more than bad judging. That sort of performance turns off the fans.

By the way I pick KIrkland to win, I like his style way better than Molina's butvit is what it is ugly fight or not Molina school Kirkland.

im mexican and whitaker did not hold as much as molina did in that fight

I'm American and yes he did hold Chaves just as much, with that i'm not saying he should be disqualify because he did an awesome job and did beat Chavez just as Molina was doing to Kirkland.

Ok; when they read the rules. Molina does deserve the No Contest.

That being said PLEASE don't punish us with a rematch. I for one will not, repeat WILL NOT, watch the rematch, if scheduled.

yeah seriously...molina even had kirkland in a headlock 3 times (one of those times he punched kirkland on top of the head)...no warnings.

Add pushing Kirkland's head down as well. While I think that the ref was foolish in ending the fight the way he did, does Molina really want to pull the thread on this sweater (of rules being broken)?

With your excessive holding, goring with the head, rubbing with the elbows, rabbit punches, low blows, and whatever else you can think of.
The same crap ref allowed you to hold all night without nary a warning.

It was an ugly match, but the officials knew what they were doing. Kirkland was losing so badly that they had to look for an out and they took it. Now Molina is ****ed 'cause if they rematch Kirkland can prepare exactly for what Molina brings to the table. And as Molina has no good power, Kirkland will likely steamroll him unless his chin breaks.

Dont agree. How were the officicla sto know that Molinas corner would jump into the ring when they werent supposed to. The ref could have taken many points from Molina for fighting dirty if that was his agenda but it wasnt and let him get away with alot of spoiling that others refs wouldnt. I think the ref was very lenient and up until the finish he looked more biased towards Molina if anything.
