Alrite, so i know how once every few weeks we get a thread about the terrible rating system in place at boxrec. i also noticed some of the mods were getting fed up, so i found this link.
it basiclly explains the rating system, no matter how flawed it is, so we can put an end to people caring about their system

Hmmmmm, yeah it was interesting. its not perfect by any means but it does sound fair. Good because it pervents a fighter like say Evander holyfield, who has been knocked out of the rankings, getting a win over a bum and being rated in the top ten because of it. This sometimes happens because a fighter like Evander has a name recognition and this infulences people compiling ratings. I think Boxrec is not perfect but they are at least sticking to a system and trying to be fair!
