Here is what I said about him in another thread.

Forget Garcia...

That kid acts like he's a G, kisses his lip like he's some kinda Puerto Rican LL Cool J and then nearly cries like a bYtch at the end of the fight...and he sounds like his nuts never dropped.

Oh yea, he was emotional....sure....bwadmon like him shouldn't get emotional.

I dunno I just don't like the kid....he's gonna get sparked out soon enough.

C'mon man it was a passing of the torch. Everyone knows Morales was way above his fighting weight and would have destroyed this kid at his best. It is what it is. No sense in getting too pissed about it.

I don't hate the kid. I'll admit he isn't likable. And I agree with what was already said, kid isn't anything special. He's good...nothing else.

His attitude and his boxing ability are down there, but hey that's boxing for you. Morales shouldn't have even had the title to begin with but it's not his job to tell the sanctioning bodies what to do. Either way I think he should take a hard look at that fight, a 35 year old Morales was making him look pretty bad at times. Good luck beating any of the top guys at 140 or 147 , R.I.P Garcia.

Yeah when I saw that, Morales taunting Garcia, that was badass. He had the whole crowd laughing too. Morales has some showboating in him. It was a close fight, Morales should not retire. Just get in to better shape. Don't come looking like a couch potatoe again, cause Morales was punking Garcia at times even in his terrible shape.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch, the fight was close enough and it was a very clean, tactical fight, it was a boxing match. I liked it, both fighters did well.


No I do not hate Garcia, he's one of my favorite boxers right now who i'm keeping an eye on.
