Given the negligible amount of time remaining, the scorecards, and the fact that Chavez had an unblemished record (making the fight even more significant), I think you can make the case that it is the worst/most unfortunate stoppage in history.

If a guy looks out of it, you stop the fight no matter how little time is left. The call could have gone either way in my opinion. Steele was in the right to stop the fight.

Lol how did Taylor "look out of it"?

Please show us the direct camera shot you had on Taylor's face.

Should have let him continue, but fair stoppage.

Doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.

THat is a completely biased decision

It doesnt matter if theres 3 seconds or 3 mins, whether Chavez is winning or not, the Ref is suppose to make the same decision no matter whats going on in the fight

It was a bad stoppage. Look when Montiel got iced by Donaire the ref gave him the benefit of the doubt but intervened the moment Montiel didn't defend himself.

Decision has shady written all over it.

Steele kept asking him if he's alright and instead of responding, he looking at his corner with a clueless look

If you cant answer when asked if you're ok, you're "out of it"
