read what this person had to say:

I challenge those who scored the Marquez/Pacquiao 3 fight for Marquez. On what basis did Marquez win that fight on November 12? For those who favor Pacquiao in a win, they have the punch stat numbers to show. CompuBox tally 176 punches landed for Manny Pacquiao and only 138 for Juan Manuel Marquez. It also shows that Pacquiao clearly inflicted more damage on his opponent. All three official judges unanimously agreed that Marquez did not beat Pacquiao.

Pro Marquez fans will counter that they don’t have the confidence in the numbers presented by CompuBox. Well then, they should provide the number that they can legitimately present as the true stats. I see none from writers and bloggers from Mexico, Europe, Philippines, the USA or anywhere on the globe providing those numbers that favors Marquez.

In the pantheon of disgraceful decisions in the history of boxing this one will
go down as one of the most notorious. Juan Manuel Marquez, at the age of 38,
has just seen his best performance in the ring to comprehensively out box, out
think, out work, and out hustle Manny Pacquiao over 12 rounds stolen from him
by three judges who have brought shame to the sport. It was an historic
performance. It should have resulted in a unanimous decision in favour of Juan
Manuel Marquez. Instead he lost and so did the sport of boxing.,,,,
          http://www.********boxing.com/news.php?p=29847&more=1

After 12 rounds of what appeared to many at ringside and nearly all of the crowd
of 16,368 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to be a solid win for Marquez, two ringside
judges saw a fight only a businessman or a blind man could have seen.
Somehow Judge Glenn Trowbridge scored the bout 116-112 for Pacquiao and Dave Moretti
had it 115-113 for the WBO welterweight titleholder. The third, Robert Hoyle, had it
a draw 114-114. Meanwhile, a number of ringside observers saw Marquez winning 116-112
and as much as 117-112. When Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, was asked in the
ring if he agreed his fighter had beaten Marquez again he waited for a moment before
          answering.
“The fight was close,’’ Roach said. “It was very close.’’
Not really. Not unless you brought a pencil to ringside with you.
Later he would say he felt his man pulled it out in the last two rounds while also
conceding “it could have gone either way.’’ As endorsements go, it wasn’t exactly a
ringing one. What was more telling was an hour later when he said, “It’s the kind
of fight I don’t want to do again but we have to. S__t. He’s given us problems three
          times.....

Pacquaio “Wins,” Marquez is “robbed” and boxing “loses”.....
          http://www.maxboxing.com/news/max-bo...-boxing-loses-

The opinions of many within the ringside media and those at the post-fight
press conference were somewhat mixed, but the overwhelming majority felt that
the legend from Mexico City had been robbed. The general consensus is that
Marquez’ counter punching controlled the pace of the contest and that he
landed the harder shots. By: Mike Sloan, ringside in Las Vegas.

those people just say things without really thinking of what theyre saying. how did marquez win if he was out punched 176 to 138 & 117 to 100 in power punches? they should provide proof why they think marquez won, i think they were just been affected by the shoe shine punches with the help of marquez fans cheer.

you will never look the other direction so there's really no point.

you don't really put all of your faith into this "compubox" do you? I seriously hope you are aware that "compubox" is merely a person standing there pushing a button every time he thinks a punch as been landed.

Compubox doesn't mean ish but merely a gauge to see if someone is dominated (in case of wide margins). To me, this fight is just as subjective as anyone's opinions, there is no clear winner, but if you point out some facts supporting the other fighter, you might say he did win, but it is just too unsure since the other party has their own. And bull**** this fight, lets get it over with, this article is about a robber, d@mnit!

In first glance, JMM won in Pac-JMM 3, however if you will review the footage, Pac won most of the rounds. Me, myself scored it UD win for Pac without bias. JMM is a good fighter but as a challenger, he should work more in ensuring victory, not that in a close decision then claiming victory at the end. If he really needed to win, he should do in an obvious way in dismantling Pac.
