Just got back from the Morales/Garcia Fight...

Pretty good show. I bought two tickets for 125 dollars, for 8 rows above floor seating. THe place to my eyes looked sold out. Sucks that the Cotto./Castillo fight had to be cancelled. There was about 50minutes where they had to kill some time before the broadcast. It ***en pissed me off when they gave the mic to some douchebag and allowed him propose to his girlfriend in the middle of the ring! I didn't pay good money to see that sheet.

    OK on to the fights...

    Kirkland/Molina
Monilna was dominating Kirkland. After they disqualified molina, kirkland fans around me where celebrating like he was winning the fight and KO'ed the dude. The mexican fans to me where 50/50 cheering for the texan kirkland, which is why i couldn't understand the black fans in the audience pointing, laughing, strutting and being aggressive at mexican fans when monlina was dq'ed. Good for them but recognize the kirkland was taking a beating.

    Morales/Garcia
Morales never convinced me that he cared about the fight. He was so relaxed, too relaxed as if garcia wasn't enough to get up for. Garcia was clearly winning a lot of rounds on points but was also getting hit hard. I think morales broke his nose in the seventh. The score card were a bit wide imho, but garcia had clearly won the fight. (Five year ago morales would have wiped the floor with garcia, he punches are way too wide.)

All in all good night of boxing.

One more thing I lol'ed when molina got dq'ed b/c Deloya was pacing and making facial expressions like he was PISSED, but he didn;t give two flying ***s about who won that match. He came off as a big phony.

yeah took plenty a lot of pics, I'll upload some later.

As far as the crowd, i was a the Williams/Ishida fight in corpus and that one i could see plenty of available seating. Tonight, by broadcast time i felt claustrophobic b/c of how many people. Guess it all depends on where you sit and how fat the guy next to you is...

yeah, i'm not sure if it looks like that in the alexander/maidana broadcast too (i haven't watched them) but i was pretty much front row for the fights and looking around in back of me and around the arena it was pretty filled out. the atmosphere was great. tv doesn't capture how it really is at fights.
can't wait to see the pics though TS. hopefully you got some great shots.
