Closer fight than what the scorecards read especially considering they were in Garcia's favor. I had him winning but didnt think the scoring would go against the legend.

Garcia should have stopped Morales with relative ease. Erik is a hell of a boxer, but if Garcia was more active and threw the straight right more often, he could've had a break out performance.

fight much closer than Schellenberger 117-110 & especially Condes 118-109
10-2 in rounds...terrible judging & that w/a KD...the other was 116-112,8-4, where was the extra point 4 the KD???

Time for Erik, who's given us many thrills to call it...no need to go on as he should've cleared after taxes& expenses $1/2 mil...Thanks Erik...good luck to champ Garcia, he gave an exciting effort & I get the feeling he'll defend regularly...

I dont understand the dumb Fcks in here that are saying Danny is not proud to be PR or where was the PR flag, how about his trunks you DMFr's, I saw an interview before the fight where he stated how proud he was to be PR and hope to bring another win for PR and add to the chapter of Mexico Vs PR, as far as his fight Danny did better than most of Morales last few opponents and dont forget that Danny is still green and has ways to go. As far as Morales he still can beat some of these 140lbs but if I was him I would retire because of health and for his family. All in All Great win for the young buck and Morales thank you for the great memories I always enjoy your fight as a fight fan.

            Forget Garcia...

That kid acts like he's a G, kisses his lip like he's some kinda Puerto Rican LL Cool J and then nearly cries like a ***** at the end of the fight...and he sounds like his nuts never dropped.

Oh yea, he was emotional....sure....bwadmon like him shouldn't get emotional.

I dunno I just don't like the kid....he's gonna get sparked out soon enough.

The judge w/the widest margin for garcia was Puerto rican, go figure!

I thought it was closer than the judges had it as well, I think I had Morales winning 5 out of the first 7 or something like that. He also came on strong before he was knock downed as well.

Regardless, I think Morales should really retire. Also don't see Garcia going far, the kid just isn't that good.

Morales shouldn't have got in there with that extra blubber on him.

Morales apparently did little training for the fight, it showed in the weigh-in and during the fight were he looked in slow motion, plowing backwards, and out of air most of the time.

Had the Morales that fought Maidana and Cano shown up, Gracias would have been beaten soundly.
