Let's not kid ourselves. Paris didn't belong in this fight and he will be lucky to ever find himself in the position as a well paid opponent for a big name fighter.

That was a pathetic effort from start to finish. He made a guy who quit like a ***** in his last fight look like a p4p all time great.

In fact, I would be willing to bet that Paris doesn't even fight again, he will be back to thuggin on the streets after this and he will get shot or stabbed or thrown in jail within 6 months.

He didn't deserve the title shot against Clottey when all he did was beat Jason Davis after getting knocked out by Cotto.

And for the record he quit in that fight as well and disgraced himself by trying to fake a head butt that he knew damn well didnt happen.

Clottey needed a name to fight him, not zabs fault. Zab got his proper beat down like he always got at 147.

The last part is certainly possible, but that outcome was always going to happen if it does.

A humbling is the only thing that could possibly save Paris, and that is what he got. Either he learns a good lesson or falls off the face of the Earth it is up to him, knowing his past the later would be the safe bet.

I agree. Paris did the best he could. He is just a C-class fighter and he proved that tonight by his inability to beat a B-class fighter.
