I'm a fan of the throwback fighters who took a loss and wanted nothing more than to avenge that loss asap. I hope Kirkland tries to get Ishida back in the ring sometime down the road.

I think it's a pride thing. Plus, wiping out out Ishida would erase doubts in a lot of the skeptics minds.

Kirkland's conditioning is top notch and he works extremely hard in his training camps, however, I hope that he focused a good deal on technique and defense as he's proven vulnerable in those areas in the past..

I really believe Kirkland is a different guy with Anne. Without Anne, he would not have gotten up from the Angulo right hand. And if he had, he would not have weathered the storm and whupped Angulo's a$$ like he did.

Kirkland by TKO in the 8th tonight. Molina definitely has a great chance though, no doubt. He's legit.

I don't think that Kirkland is underestimating Molina, it is just he has a glass jaw and no defense for it. I doubt that Molina has enough power to shatter that glass jaw, but if he ends up doing it, Kirkland might want to find a different career.

                I agree, green k.

Notice the fighters who like to avenge their losses/close fights are called cowards, bums, etc[Mayweather-Castillo, Taylor-Pavlik, Williams-Martinez etc.]. But the one's who don't want to go back to the scene of the crime where they got ****d, are praised and defended with bull**** excuses.

                    First off, WAR Kirkland.

Secondly, what the WBC is doing right now with shielding Alvarez should be illegal. Someone should be prosecuted/fired/terminated, however you want to look at it.

Kirkland has to fight Angulo and Vanes just to get a title shot, while the champion is fighting the loser of his last 2 bouts (Mosley and Cintron). How is this not illegal?
