Lara didn't train properly because Shields was training Rigondeaux and he was in Ireland 2 or 3 weeks before the fight, he had a tooth problem 3 days before the fight and still hurt Molina in the 8 or 9 round, the best punches of the fight were landed by Lara although the busier one was Molina, a draw was a fair outcome, he will ko Molina in a rematch or beat him up from pole to pole, there's a big gap between them and Lara has all the advantages, if that fight happens we can put some real money on the table... Talk is cheap

What? Wtf fight were you watching? You seriously think Williams won that fight? You should be suspended from these forums like those judges were .

Where's Williams excuse saying he didn't train properly for the Lara fight? Link me please or maybe you can tell me why. Why didn't he give Lara the rematch cause he wasn't gonna train properly for it again?

If Molina beats Kirkland, I have no doubt Lara will rematch him.

Don't mind him, some boxing fans have no regard for the truth and they think because a guy like Molina gave Lara some trouble making an ugly fight that he could do it again, they disregard the problem that he have before the fight, and again it was his fault that he could not train whatever the circumstances, the tooth thing he could have cancel and he didn't, he went ahead with the fight, now he is fighting a MW because he could not find an opponent at 154, and just read what Molina is saying, that Lara want it a rematch but he was never inform, Cubas signed Molina a few weeks after the Lara's fight and Cubas happens to b Lara's manager, believe me that Luis is looking for a way that this two can make alot of money fighting against each other.

why didn't Lara give this guy a rematch? why wouldn't want to prove to the boxing world that he didn't get a gift.

personally I don't think he wants to. Molina is a high risk low reward fight. it's easier for him to call out the big names and try to make some money.

I like Lara. But that Draw with Molina was a gift to protect the record of a highly touted prospect. I think we all can agree he probably should have lost that fight. And I think he realized it too, he never disputed the draw or said he thought he should have won. Lara, as much as he talks (and that's a lot), never says things that aren't true. I commend that much about him.

he gets things off his chest, speaks his mind. Stand up dude in my book, with the honesty and all. I don't think he'd beat Molina in a re though. After watching the Cintron fight, I'm sure Molina does more of the same to secure the W. Just a bad style matchup for Lara probably, being so cagey and all.
