Comments Thread For: Froch: To Say I Won’t Beat Bute is Ludicrous, Ridiculous

Former two time super middleweight king Carl Froch (28-2, 20KOs) is feeling pretty confident about his chances to defeat IBF 168-pound champion Lucian Bute (30-0, 24KOs) on May 26th at the Nottingham Arena. Froch, who lost to Andre Ward and Mikkel Kessler in the Super Six Boxing Classic, is laughing at the critics who completely count him out in the fight.

We should read: Bute had face everyone that had the guts to step in the ring with him.
Not is fault if Kessler, Paavlik and Ward ran away.

I love Froch in the ring, outside not so much.
I'm looking forward to the fight but don't see how the cobra can win....

Wouldn't say they ran away Bute's been fighting in his home town too long he should have been part of the super 6 really (not saying thats his fault). I would pick Ward over Bute easy. Kessler & Froch are closer fights but I would still pick those 2 to get the win. remember Bute has been beaten really remember the long count where Andrade was clearly screwed

Andrade , lets get over it.It's 5 years ago and the case was settle in the second fight. And if you are a promoter ,what do you do.have Bute in front of 15000 fans or you go in USA in front of 1000 fans. Direll made a comeback and the hall was almoist empty. In Canada they can attract almost 700 fans just for a public training.
And a ring in Uk, Canada or USA is still a ring.
So far, Bute had never refuse to fight nobody, they did. Maybe to dangerous for these fighters.
