The only reason why Alexander won, was because it was a 10 rounder, Alexanders hometown, and Alexander was allowed EXCESSIVE holding! That fight with Maidana should have been on neutral ground, theres clearly some su****ion with Ref. Smoger. although i do like Smoger, but sometimes Refs get introduced to large amounts of money which even they cant turn down, its not like they make millions. Kinda dissappointed with Gloden Boy, because they promote both those fighters and Alexander got the better piece of pie with that..unlike Maidana, will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. So its obvious who Golden Boy wanted to win that fight! And im not sayin that Maidana would have clearly won, If there were no ties and it was a 12 rounder(which it should have been because of the Alexander), and if you would have let them fight instead of the other fighter holding and hugging. Then it would have been a hell of fight! instead of this one sided crap. Trash, Garbage, Fighter coming forward with no skill? Well then why arent you headlining HBO?? You can easily make a case for Maidana as well. I dont wanna watch holding and hugging the whole dayum fight! Alexander knew Maidana is the type of fighter that wont turn down a fight, so he wanted a 10 rounder in his hometown, i dnt know what was up with smoger that night either! Alexander is known to tire in the later rounds as well. So if Brook got some balls, then fight Maidana in Argentina!
