To bad that Mayweather does not like challenges or taking risks, we would never know how great he could have been, his past refusal to fight Pacquiao and I can see in the near future that he would avoid Martinez as well will only hurt his legacy, he won't be remembered for who he fought but for who he didn't fought.Comment

He is looking sharp and real strong. Dosent look 35. After watching him spar this week I have no doubt that he'll stop Cotto in 10. He let off some accurate combos. His punches are so short and they snap. He doesn't waste energy neither. He takes his sparring partners into deep water.
have you been watching him from the begginning (at least the sparring?)
and what's the timeline look like for him getting sharp and back to form when he begins training?
does he ever have bad days? i'm glad he doesnt look his age. he takes great care of himself in and out of the ring and deserves a longer career for it. he's got a lot left in the tank, even if he's not physically what he used to be. allmost all of the greats all got great wins after they were beyond their best days
and how big did he look coming in to camp?
he's been so active (for floyd mayweather,) that i expect him to be sharper earlier
cotto's going to try and box and floyd's going to be in another stratosphere.
easy UD, but a stoppage isnt out of the question if floyd can start to back cotto up consistently.Last edited by New England; 03-22-2012, 07:23 AM.Comment

Floyd was asked a question but he never said that the ONLY way he would fight Martinez was if he could make 50.Comment
