I agree..I think Kirkland wins this one too..too agressive for Molina's relaxed style..but hey I was very surprised at how well he did against Lara.

Yea. Something people need to understand. Lara is a conservative counter-puncher, that and the fact he admitted that he wasn't as prepared for Molina as he should of been. Molina wasn't as known 'til he fought Lara. Cintron, who's ALWAYS been an underachiever, is clearly past his best days, and looked it against not only Molina, but Alvarez and Smith, he looked sub-par, and unprepared mentally.
Kirkland on the other hand, is an aggressive smothering fighter, who has a better jab and boxing skills then given credit for. He proved that, against Alfredo Angulo. The reason this is a bad style matchup for Molina is because he has an awkward mid too close range style, that he can effectively use against guys who BOX AT MID TOO LONG RANGE. Kirkland, will obviously meet Molina in the center of the ring, and I believe, will smother Molina, break him down and will stop him somewhere around the 8th round.
Now I COULD be wrong here, but I don't believe I am. I still think people underrate Kirkland's overall skillset. "Non-skilled brawlers" don't come as far as Kirkland has. People mistake that, aggressive/pressure fighters aren't as skilled as the conventional counter-puncher and or classic boxer. Which is sometimes the case, but it really all comes down to style match ups. Just my two cents. Either way, It's bound to be exciting.Comment

I respecfully disagree with you, if Kirkland doesn't finish Molina in 6 Molina will take it because he has better stamina than Kirkland and better boxing skills.

Well, Angulo was coming off the long layoff and he clearly shot his wad in that first round. You could tell he was huffing and puffing badly after that.
I don't expect Molina to get tired like that so James is going to have to rely on his skills more to win this time. And I think Molina has the better skill set.Comment

See problem in that fight was kirkland has his history work for him, angulo punched him self out trying to noroshak(however you spell his name) his ass, then he got tired and got clocked. now he got over been clocked but being still tired left him defenseless and he kept getting clocked and was able to break that cycle.Out of shape..? You say that pretty matter of factually. When you take into account the punishment Angulo endured over the course of the fight, he had to of been in the very least, good shape. Angulo was simply outclassed, plain and simple.
I see people calling that fight a "war". Despite the first round, it was a complete whitewash in favor of Kirkland. He didn't just show superior conditioning, he showed he was superior to Angulo in terms of overall skills. I mean Kirkland actually took a step back at times, used his jab and picked Angulo off, which was something people didn't think Kirkland was capable of doing.
Molina is underrated, and has an awkward style. I just don't see him being able to keep away from Kirkland for even a round or two, let alone all night. If the Kirkland that showed up against Angulo shows up, I give Molina very little chance.
kirkland taking steps back etc etc picking shot off etc etc is not hard to do against a fighter that dazed out his mind, out of breath beyond belief. If he does this to a regular fight that aint in that same predicament then I give kirkland his props right now he just riding the break angulo afforded him.
Molina to tap his assComment
