Richard seems like a good kid. I don't think he's got a very good chance of pulling the upset, but I certainly wish him well.

I agree with him, I like watching Rios a lot, but you dont see Marquez, Morales, this type of stuff at press conferences. After all he is from Oxnard lol, and he is more of a Chicano. Either way he still backs it up.

Well, if you watch the video, Rios is being interviewed, then some guy says to him, "Brandon, here's your rival. He's Cuban, too. His name is Richard Abril." Abril then identifies himself as interim lightweight champion and says to Rios, "You have to fight me." (As Richard says in this interview, he considers himself Brandon's "mandatory" opponent.) Rios then says, "Ay, ay, ay, like I said, my fuckin' manager's right here. There's my fuckin' manager," and gets in Abril's face.

Richard wasn't being disrespectful. Assuming the whole thing wasn't a set-up, Abril was simply there to try to land a fight (and apparently one he feels entitled to as interim champ). I don't see what's wrong with that.
