    Top Rank and Chavez are hesitant in even making a fight

    giving them a reason to back out is NOT a roadblock

      I really hate to say this but, boxers are becoming such puzzies now days rejecting drug tests and all that. Since when is it up to the boxers on wether or not they take drug tests? I really can not stand the direction boxing is going. It would be nice to only have one champion in each division and have the champ defend against the number one challenger. Now the champion picks the weak link to try to keep a zero on their record. BS!

        It must be painful to be unable to use the 'he's never tested positive before' excuse.

        smh.

          Well if he was caught in the past, then he'll be caught again if he tried it. Don't be so simple; before you post, figure out what possible replies could be made. Then you'll make a more sensible post.

            If Chavez, Jr has used banned substances in the past, why would anyone oppose this?

            Part of the rationale of Manny's fans was that Floyd had no basis for requesting the testing. Well, Sergio does have a reason.

              See, I told you so.

              Sergio don't want none of it.

              Sergio and Lou DiFatso are the reason this fight hasn't happened. They have put up roadblock, after roadblock to avoid JR.

              And after Sergio's performances against the goat farmer and the sheep herder-- I don't blame them.

                I say they should be blood testing on EVERY single fight made. Who would want to fight somebody who is on ped's? This should be a no brainer to protect fighters. Fighters aposing this are clearly pathetic and don't care about the sport. Its funny how a sport like baseball is serious about testing its players knowning the fact that ped's would only benifit the sport but yet boxing could get 2 shlts about it when 2 people are punching the other in the head. Chavez jr is a little girl.

                  [QUOTE=Roman Moreno;11913799]What is obvious?

                  When did Andre Ward start working with Roach/Ariza? Khan has worked with Roach and Ariza. Linares has never been asked to take the test. So he has never turned it down. Chavez has a history of diuretic but that was prior working with Roach/Ariza way before. Before right now only one fighter. JUST ONE FIGHTER that works with Roach/Ariza has denied the testing.

                  So I repeat what is the obvious?[..........

                      It was a question that I was looking for a legitimate response to, nothing more. You answered it, thank you, but the assumption that came with it wasn't warranted. Maybe you've dealt with enough Floyd groupies to fuel your indiscretion toward anything involving roach and drug testing - but I'm not a floyd fan or a top rank hater. I was just asking a simple question as the coincidence popped in my head, nothing more.
                      Not knowing that Khan has been taking OSDT from his Olympics days, which he has mentioned several times, and which an article was built around on THIS site only about a week ago .....that's what makes you look like an ass....I didn't say it, you did.

                      Roman Moreno is one of the very few posters on this thread to have any practical, good, common-sense. (I'm far too modest to include myself) and his comments mostly match the facts that I am aware of. And without any bombast. You guys could take a lesson on how to post.
