Chavez jr should agree with drug testing other wise he is using something ...these tests have to make them mandatory for all boxers or at least to big fights

at this stage in the game, i really dont understand why Martinez even is putting up this road block

yes of course, its a REASONABLE demand given Jr probably is a cheat.

But he'd beat this kid easily and it would put him on the map.

Sergio, dont do anything that would stop this fight for ****s sake. Stop playing around.

Don't think VADA can test in the Philippines, where Khan starts camp. So guess Ariza gets to still be part of the team to work his magic!

It was a question that I was looking for a legitimate response to, nothing more. You answered it, thank you, but the assumption that came with it wasn't warranted. Maybe you've dealt with enough Floyd groupies to fuel your indiscretion toward anything involving roach and drug testing - but I'm not a floyd fan or a top rank hater. I was just asking a simple question as the coincidence popped in my head, nothing more.
dude hes a contrarian its just in his blood... if you say the sky is blue he will find an argument and get on ur damn nerves but the whole time u both are looking at a blue sky....

Andre Ward declined a drug test? Cool, I knew this. It didn't dawn on me instantly though, because it was covered ONCE, just once, while pacmans stuff has bee covered damn near a million times.

Come to think of it, Hopkins declined Pascals drug test offer as well, and what of Ortiz/Berto, did Ortiz decline or Accept Bertos drug testing offer?

See? It's all coming back to me now, but I repeat, none of it came to the forefront when I read this because hardly any of the other drug testing arguments are headlined. And so I asked the simple question which you assumed had some type of subliminal message tagged to it, it didn't. Some of us do ask legitimate questions every now and then.
as far as pascal and hopkins... you cant demand a drug test in a press conference buddy, that has to be done in negotiations before anything is signed

If that's true, than pretty much 99% of the top fighters today are D or C level fighters.

A: Mayweather, Pacquiao, Martinez, Cotto, Bradley, Donaire, Marquez, Wlad, Vitali, and Ward.
B: Ortiz, Khan, Berto, Alexander, Froch, Bute, Guerrero, Rios, and Haye.
C: Katsidis, Escobedo, Ramos, Abril, Antillon, Litzau, and Chisora.
D: Concepion, Juarez, Gomez, M. Hatton, M. Rodriguez, and Moremeck.

Those some good examples of A, B, C, and D level fighters today.

I just remember being kind of disappointed with Ward about it because he was the same guy who said Floyd was on to something, and endorsed drug testing. Maybe it wasn't him, but his management that rejected it. Shrug, I just know it never happened and Froch pushed for it. Sorry I can't back up the claim.
froch demanded it after the fight was signed..... not valid

That's the purpose of rankings, separating the brass from the gold. Much of the fighters today are C/D rank, in other words average.

Can't say I am not surprised by Chavez's refusal, especially after he skipped the drug test last time out.
