Rampage Jackson recently tested NEGATIVE for steroids, however, in an interview a few weeks ago, admitted to using them leading up to his fight. He admitted to using testosterone injections saying they were absolutely amazing. Gave him strength, weight, healed him faster, and even boosted his sex life to that of when he was 25. He admitted this, however, because he doesn't realize testosterone is a steroid, and so he didn't realize he was telling on himself.

Non the less, he passed the drug testing even while being on the ****, because he cut it off just in time. THIS is why combat sports need better drug testing. A fighter unknowingly admits to taking a banned substance yet the drug testing doesn't catch it, because he cycled it properly. He even admitted to it's benefits.

Exactly, not only does it give him an excuse. Even though he should take it. he can bail with the title now.

I'm all for random drug testing btw.

And want Ward to walk the walk, because he does talk it quite a lot.

Andre Ward declined? When was this?

One of the last things I have read about Ward and OST was this:

            http://www.boxingscene.com/andre-war...testing--39224

"I think it is [necessary for boxing]. I would welcome it. I think it's great. That way there is no confusion about who's playing on an even playing field. This is a dangerous sport. You hear whispers about guys, what they're doing and not doing. You have to figure out who's going to pay for it, but once we get past that - I think it should be something that's implemented in every big fight," Ward said.

I googled Andre Ward declines Olympic style drug testing, and all I got was articles of him saying he wants OST.

I can't find anything bro, I wouldn't even know what to search on google. Sorry.

I just remember being kind of disappointed with Ward about it because he was the same guy who said Floyd was on to something, and endorsed drug testing. Maybe it wasn't him, but his management that rejected it. Shrug, I just know it never happened and Froch pushed for it. Sorry I can't back up the claim.

Don't go by my word. That is fine. You make so many threads about PED's. That is hilarious that this one flew under your radar. Do your own homework. Also I have already given you a link in the past, Clegg has given you a link in the past. It's all in the Bringer thread questioning Ward. Which you implied made people haters and Froch fans and excuses. Why waste my time again with you.

If it was a Top Rank fighter or a Roach/Ariza fighter. You would have made threads about it already with less facts. So lets just leave it at that. Just ignore my post, don't take my word for it. Or do it yourself and use the search function.

Andre Ward following Floyd's lead, Wants Olympic Style Testing for Froch fight

Undefeated American fighter Andre Ward wants to implement Olympic Style Drug Testing for his Super Six tournament finals fight with Carl Froch later this year. Ward doesn't think that Froch is cheating but wants to be a part of cleaning up boxing and leading by example. On Saturday, Ward made the following comments about the Olympic Style drug testing according to Fighthype.com:

"I want to take things a step further and implement it and not just talk about it, and be one of the first to actually do it outside of Floyd Mayweather. I believe Carl is a clean fighter, but I just think that with a fight of this magnitude, it would be great for the sport to implement something like Olympic-style drug testing."

Lol at complaining about the cost. Around that time VADA was already out there. Much more cost friendly than WADA. Ward associate Conte(who Ward lied about being associated with BTW) knew VADA very well. Why use the cost for it as an excuse? VADA is good.

Like how he mentioned the fight with Carl should have it. Froch tried to do after it was signed. But, it was already signed so it was too late. What trips me out about that is that Ward team(Promoter) lied about that fight having anti doping. They said it was in the contract when it wasn't. Why lie about it? Oh well lets ignore these lies.

Good for Martinez, I'm glad that fighters are starting to demand additional testing for their fights.
