According to Canelo Promotions, Filipino WBC silver minimumweight champion Denver Cuello (30-4-6, 20KOs) will take part in a final eliminator against Mexico Ganigan Lopez on May 19th in Mexico, with a venue to be announced at a later date. Cuello is one of the better little men in boxing. With the exception of DQ loss in May of 2010, Cuello has won 22 fights since 2006. The boxer is only 25-years-old and turned pro in 2004. Lopez has lost twice since 2007. Both defeats were close split decision verdicts and that includes a close loss to former champion Adrian Hernandez.
