There were close rounds where the crowd cheered for Peterson. Don't let them sway your opinion.
Khan said he felt he won, which you can feel you won in a close fight. I also believe he had his mind on Mayweather and looked passed Perterson quite a bit. In boxing, how many times does an upset happen when a fighter who is supposedly the favourite looks at another opponent?
Khan does this too much, he even wanted cassa, katsidis and juan Diaz pre Prescott, al though that was more he was too chinny at 135.Comment

The crowd did not matter, there were plenty of close rds that were very hard to score...But to give umm all to Khan is a joke..Esp because Khan was damn nearrunning away from Peterson, not to mention Peterson was a more effective puncher overall...There were close rounds where the crowd cheered for Peterson. Don't let them sway your opinion.

Of course the crowd matters. The do often make you think wow this dude is doing well. It is psychological and programmer into our brains.
For example in an undercard fight, some are action packed, but no one is bothered, and in a main fight, the crowd get going...
If khan landed a few nice shots, mainly silence. If Peterson landed a few nice body shots, the crowd went wild.
The fact that Khan went on the back foot didn't help, because it gives an impression also. As the crowd give an impression.
It depends on how close the rounds, but most are given to the champ. I always grew up with 'you gotta take the round from the champ'Comment

I'm with you on this one bro. Peterson landed the crisper & cleaner punches. Con landed a lot of pity patty punches in spurts. Peterson was bringing the fight to him, while Con back peddaled(ran) most the fight. The point deductions were excessive but I agree that he deserved at least one for all the head pushing he was doing. Peterson deserved at least a draw but I had no complaints with the W. I think he's got Con figured out now and will do a lot more in the rematch. I have a feeling Con is gonna try and trade more next time and that could be a mistake.
PS...there were definitely more people in the threads who thought Peterson won that fight. The Con fans of were backing their boy as usaul. I've noticed a lot of them have disappeared or changed their avatars/signatures since that fight. HmmmmmComment

Fan of khan but he really needs to quit whining about that loss. I had him winning just about but he should accept it was a close fight that could have really gone either way. Swear i see an article with him moaning about the loss on here most days!Comment
