I hope Brook gets into a position as a contender for a real title so we can see what he's made of. Until then Brook's just a prospect and the more he fights bums the more I will dislike him because I can't stand talkers with inflated records. That's why I never used to like Hatton until he stepped up but the day he stepped up he was knocked out.
Hatton beat a few top level fighters at 140 tbf.

Yes he came up short against the two best fighters in the sport, but that's not exactly something to hang your head in shame about.

Brook will get knocked. His defense is bad and right hands will land.

I suppose it makes too much sense for Kell Brook or Eddie Hearn to realize that Amir Khan isn't at 147, nor does he have a title - yet - at 147. Maybe they should worry about ramping up Kell's competition level, and getting a title to bring forth some bargaining leverage to the table for when Amir does move up? Oh damn, that's right, logic again...

Who did Hatton beat apart from an over the hill Kosta? Hatton was a product of careful match making and hype and up to now no one knows how good Hatton was apart from the fact that he was not exactly a bum.

He had a few good wins.

The win over Urango (who was 17-0 at the time) was solid, Maussa was a decent win, Malignaggi (I think he is **** tbf) was a good performance and a solid win. The fight with Collazo at 147 was also very good, even though I think Colazzo won it close.

You mention a guy with 17-0 an obvious novice and call that a good win?By then Hatton had 40 or something fights and you look closely at those fighters non of them was a top drawer kind of fighter. Hatton was never matched with a guy who had a genuine chance of winning until he met Floyd Mayweather. There were many good fighters with double the number of fights Urango had who could **** as well but Hatton had to fight these over the hill guys or C class fighters.I also had Collazo winning that fight by the way. Also good fighters bounce back from losses but really the performance Hatton had against Lazcano was really pathetic. It all comes from the hype these guys get in England when really they haven't fought anyone.

Honestly Brook has no business talking until he fights someone.

I never said he had great wins, I said he had a few wins over world level fighters, which is not too shabby for a brawler with little skill and no defence. He did bounce back a little with a good performance against Malignaggi, even though he's crap.

Brook and Hatton aren't really comparable for me though, as Brook does have the ability and skill to hang with proper top class fighters. Berto, Ortiz, Bradley and most other guy's operating at WW (minus the big two) is where Brook will be operating.

I'm not sure Brook has the skills that's why to me until he really fights those guys he's still a nobody. Yes he has power but to me he appears very slow and at the moment I don't see how he can hang in with Ortiz, Berto or Alexander let alone Mayweather and Pacquiao. When he fights one of them then I will be behind him but surely no one should mention Malignaggi because Malignagi is feather fisted, someone who can actually hit back is the real test.

As for Hatton and Brook I think the business model is the same for these guys, cheat the British public by declaring how great Brook is and then when he has had 40 something fights throw him with real fighters where he obviously will be knocked out because the so called skills were a mirage. Junior Witter used to appear like he had skills and power too but again we will never know how good he was because when he fought good fighters he was short.

Time will tell I suppose, we'll see how it goes.

Power isn't really something I expect to see Brook beat guy's with, he's not really a one punch hitter. He's going to beat guy's with his skills and his speed, which are only getting better. Berto is the fight I want to see, I think Brook stops him.

Like you say we will see. Personally I don't see how Brook can beat Berto because I can't see the so called skills. The guy has 27 fights for Christ's sake and he's still fighting bums and yet those bums still catch him? How will he take Berto's shorts? I'm not sure

The guy has 27 fights and he's not even a mandatory to any title and Amir Khan's 28 fights and has been in title fights? I'm not buying this Kell Brook hype and to me the Special term on his name means the other Special until he's in there with the real fighters but thinking he can beat Berto to me is far fatched but we will see. They need to hurry this guy up otherwise he looks like he's really Special in a remedial class or the kids with Special needs
