Looking back on Holyfield's victory over Foreman

That was one of the greatest nights in my life.

It was fireworks. Besides Rocky Balboa, Evander Holyfield influenced me the most to get in the weight room and want to have that toe-to-toe style where you can be the smaller man and still **** with the bigger guys.

He hurt Big George multiple times while being hurt himself. I remember thinking Holyfield was going to get KO'd, then just out of nowhere he explodes and almost KO's George.

Keep in mind, Evander was a blown up cruiserweight, while Big George was a monster in his comeback.

    Those were the days.

    Thoughts?

At the time, Holyfield was undefeated and George only lost to 2 fights from the 70's.

This was one of the most exciting fights I remember watching as a kid.
