No.... It is just hard to think that the 38 year old light weight with 60 fights out boxed Pacquiao.

I view Marquez' prime as about 1999-2006 or so. 2007-2009 Past his prime-still good. Since 2009, I think he's been past it. Of course, Marquez is a great fighter and an ATG, so he was able to still win while being past it. he still beat Diaz, Katsidis, and arguably beat Pac last time out. If he loses to this Fedchenko guy, it has everything to do with age. Same as any other fighter. Ali only lost to Leon Spinks because he was 36 years old and way way way past his prime. Leonard only lost to Norris and Camacho because he was way way way past it.

Even though I've considered Marquez past his prime completely from 2010-present day, I still think he has a couple fights left in him and he showed that big time against Pacquiao last year. I'd like to see him fight this tune-up like fight Fedchenko and than Rios in July. Than, if he were to win, fighting Gamboa, Peterson, Bradley, or maybe even Pacquiao again late in the year. And win or lose, call it quits.

When you are so evenly matched as them too youre gonna have close fights. Unless one KOs the other. Then Bumweather fans will say it was a fluke...sort of like Bumweathers Ko over Ortiz.
