Cuban boxing= great foot work, fundamentals, very technical, elusive, slick and fast!! Cuban trainers get sent all around the world to teach boxing. the countries they go to they end up taking the boxers to the Olympics and/or become world class boxers!! look at cottos Cuban trainer who got him moving real nice against margarito!
you tube Cuban Boxing School so you can see the training for the youth in Cuba!! nice video you guys will enjoy
with all that Saudi sadly I don't see Abril winning but hey you never know...
I didn't think Lara could beat Williams and he pounded the **** out of him

Good point, neither did I, but I consider Lara's win more plausible than Abril's. We'll see. No shame in losing to the #2 rated lightweight. My hope at the moment is that Richard simply "represents."

Out of all the current top Cubans I too regard Rigo as the top of the bunch. Gamboa is good but at this time n point his gonna be on sitting out for a while until he gets everything sorted out n by the time he gets back I personally believe he won't be the same. I still think his an over hyped fighter but if he gets everything together n dedicates himself 100% to this sport he might still accomplish great things.

I expect this fight to be competitive but see Rios taking it.

Cuban boxers are indeed great technical boxers

Abril won't look too bad because Rios style of fighting is catered to getting hit so Abril will tag him with some good clean shots! I just thunk rios pressure will eventually get him
Abrils 2 losses were controversial: one being robbed and the other a split decision by my boy Prescott!! Prescott has robbed and ducked a bunch of time plus he has KO power and Abril went the distance with him
this was the same Prescott who pummeled khan
