    Brook v Berto

Last night on Sky Sports(after Brook-Hatton) a couple of the pundits said they would like to see Kell Brook fighting someone from across the Atlantic, with Andre Berto, Victor Ortiz and Devon Alexander all mentioned.

I think Ortiz beats Brook pretty comfortably, and I wouldn't like to see him fighting Alexander because I'm yet to be totally won over by him, although he boxed well against Maidana(aside from clinching about a billion times).

I would, however, like to see Brook fighting Berto(I think either guy would look good as a victim on the other's resume). The standard in the USA is much higher than that in Britain, but Brook is one of a select few fighters from the UK that might have what it takes to mix it with some of the bigger names in the welterweight division on a world scale.

In my opinion, Brook takes a fight against Berto by a close but unanimous decision. What do you guys think?

Yeah, very good. He never really stopped looking for the knockout and if hatton hadn't clinched as much he probably would've got it. I was very impressed but at the end of the day, Matthew Hatton is a limited fighter(but a very tough one).

It'd be great to see him really test himself because it was pretty much a shutout last night!

Brook EASY...He would mismatch Berto...I feel that Brook is really a natural fighter....Bhop is a legend and I see him as a TAUGHT crafty fighters, but natural fighters like Floyd, Chad Dawson(not saying Brook is on their level) are hard to come by!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!...He said Ortiz beats Brook...Brook already has the size to compete with Ortiz, as far as manpower, but his boxing skills, and naturality...that fight would be Mayweather vs Ortiz all over again, with a bigger, less skilled Mayweather...Brook boxes the boy's drawls off, have em running around the ring naked, and potentially stops him

I agree with you on Brook being a natural fighter. He seems to make everything he does seem effortless, which is probably why he's seen as such a prospect(as max kellerman said about gamboa when he fought salido, "it suggests what he's capable of doing").

Also, no offence, but I think you're a bit slow if you think Brook dominates Ortiz. As I said, I think Ortiz wins it comfortably, because although Brook does seem to have a good chin, he was still hit some decent shots by Matthew Hatton(particularly a couple of left hooks) and Ortiz' power is such that he would make you pay if he landed even a few clean shots on you. Let's not forget, Mayweather aside, Ortiz has knocked down every opponent he's faced as a pro. Maybe in a few years Brook will be ready for Ortiz, though, because he has serious potential.

Brook beats both Berto and Ortiz by decision, like 8 rounds to 4.. I don't know about Alexander.. he looked good against Maidana but lets face it, Maidana was never meant to be a welterweight.. Gotta see Alexander against a true welterweight.. That's the fight I'd want to see.. Brook v Alexander..

HAHAHAHA!!!!..U sound a bit slow...Ortiz has NOT knocked down every opponent he has faced...My oppinion is Ortiz has trouble with Boxers...Lamont, Floyd...NOW, Ortiz would KILL Lamont at ww...EASILY...But Brooks is not a scrawny boxer with no power like Lamont....I think its the same fight, just bigger guy, sharper, stronger
