It’ll be kinda hard if we’re going to consider it hypothetically, it’ll be a big fight because Martinez is a good fighter that could give Floyd some trouble. (but ultimately I’ve never been one of those guys who thought he’s the one to really trouble Floyd or even beat him…check the posts, if you please). But on paper Timothy Bradley, who happens to be Pac’s next opponent, and Martinez are alike in a few ways:

Both of them “ducked” fighters hard core fans have asked to see them in with…because of “money” issues or the pursuit of it (with Tim Bradley it was a little more complicated because of a contract extension). Pirog and Khan, alike. They’re both good fighters, they’ve both beaten some solid opposition…Cintron, Williams, Pavlik – Holt, Peterson, Witter, Alexander. Both are very good fights (mayweather-martinez, Pacquiao-bradley)…those are the fights to make if Mayweather and Pacquiao don’t step in against each other.

Plus, just thinking about it, I don’t have official stats but it appears like, and I could be wrong, Bradley might get hit less than Martinez (just thinking off the top of the head, through a few recent bouts), but it’s Martinez who is considered the “slick” fighter of the two….anybody have percentages for their last few fights? I could look it up…later.
